Here you can browse through the large range of stoves which has made Hamco Heating a household name in Ireland since 1966.
Wood Log and Multifuel Stoves
With experience handed down through generations, Hamco has developed its own range of contemporary Steel Stoves, 100% manufactured in Ireland called the Morgan Range and Cast Iron Stoves called The Glen Collection, The Lough Collection and The Nordic Collection.
Hamco Heating stoves are all capable of producing a substantial level of heat. We offer from 4.5Kw to 12Kw Room Heater models and from Domestic Hot Water only up to 19 standard sized radiators. Please consult with your local dealer with regards to the most suitable heat output for your intended installation.
Although most of our stoves are capable of burning some coal, peat and other fuels, we do recommend the use of wood. Wood is naturally environmentally friendly as it consumes more carbon dioxide whilst growing than it emits during burning. It is also one of the very few fuels that is renewable in our lifetime. Most other sources of power come from fossil fuels – these take thousands of years to evolve and are being consumed faster than they can be replenished by nature.
Wood Pellet Stoves
We offer Pellet room heater stoves as small as 4.5kw to heat smaller areas all the way up to 15kw with the capability of channeling heat to other rooms through ducting. We offer Pellet Boilers all the way up to 31kw to heat the largest of homes.
A pellet heating system is an intelligent choice for a number of reasons. Compared to other fuels, pellets are inexpensive, are consumed slowly, and have high heat output. They are clean and produce no dust or other waste because they are compacted and sold in impervious clean packaging. When they burn they leave very little residue, allowing the heating system to operate at maximum efficiency and eliminating the need for continual removal of ash from the combustion chamber. But above all, pellets are ecological.
They are made primarily from natural waste produced during woodworking. They contain no chemicals, and are a renewable source of energy whose use helps to limit exploitation of the forests, since they are made mainly from sawdust and woodchips. Pellets are therefore considered a biomass fuel, with double the energy density of wood and producing low CO2 and NOX emissions.
