Vermiculite Boards are a fire-resistant board made from expanded vermiculite and special inorganic binder that provide a high degree of heat resistance to temperatures up to 1300°C and heat shocks. The boards do not represent any health hazards and are exclusive of any asbestos, glass or mineral fibres.They are resistant to CO and CH4 in the atmosphere, and to liquid aluminium, crylolites and fluorides. Reaction on fire acc. to EN 13501.1, DIN 4102 = A1, non - combustible. They feature sufficient rigidity and mechanical stability, high temperature and high electrical resistance and low heat conductivity.They are used as insulation of the inner paneling board in stoves, wood burning stoves and fireplaces, or in industry as an insulating paneling of blast furnaces, etc.
