The thermostatic anti-condensation valve KV 2.8 has been developed for the installation on systems with a generator for solid combustibles. It is able to maintain the temperature of the fluid at the inlet of the generator above a certain minimum value, defined by the setting of the thermostatic element. Setting range according to the model 55°C.
The device prevents the heat transfer fluid from entering into the generator at a too low temperature in order to reduce the quantity of condensation which is created on the heat exchanger. Besides that the device can accelerate the temperature increase of the generator during the start up. If installed on the inlet of the generator, the device works as a mixing valve; if installed on the outlet conduct the device operates as a diverting valve.
